Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: pre-launch draft — not yet finalized.
1. Purpose
This policy exists so the platform stays safe and usable for everyone. It applies to anything run on, sent from, or stored on a Static GPU instance.
2. Prohibited activity
Illegal activity of any kind. Malware, botnets, or command-and-control infrastructure. Attacking, scanning, or attempting unauthorized access to other tenants' instances or any third-party system. Distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks or tooling. Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging. Child sexual abuse material — zero tolerance, reported to the relevant authorities immediately. Circumventing instance isolation, billing controls, or usage limits. Infringing someone else's intellectual property.
3. Resource use
Use your instance within the resources you've provisioned and paid for — GPU-intensive workloads including AI training/inference and, yes, cryptomining are fine as ordinary billed usage. Automated abuse of trial credits, promotions, or the signup flow itself is not.
4. Reporting abuse
If you believe an instance on our platform is being used to attack or abuse you or anyone else, email main@staticgpu.com with as much detail as you can (source, timestamps, logs) and we'll investigate promptly.
5. Enforcement
Depending on severity, violations may result in a warning, instance suspension, account termination, or referral to law enforcement — at our discretion, and without refund of fees already incurred.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
